They say at the start of each episode that ‘we watch the movie so that you don’t have to’, but then they never actually make any attempt to explain anything about it beyond a sentence long statement of the premise at the start, like they’re assuming the listener will have already seen it.
When they’re talking about it they’ll just say something like ‘that bit with the dog was crazy’, and then another one will be like ‘yeah the dog bit got me’, but they won’t actually bother to explain what the... more
I’m a certified brave boy, but I can’t get any of the people in my life to enjoy horror with me. Hearing the boys discuss their experiences with the films in such depth and with such great appreciation for the creative choices present in the genre makes me so happy. Also Sean once liked a Letterboxd review of mine. Thanks mate!
love to hear these boys gush about movies. they speak with such passion that it fills me with creative excitement. had to put in the 5 stars to combat the 1 star anti vax review
Any and all SansPants shows will make you dumb and I love it
I love this show so much. I have always been interested in horror but always been too scared to watch it because I am a coward. I love that I can get the horror story without being scared of it. I love hearing the talk of film that they do because I love film just as much. They are spectacular hosts and I love... more

A comedy-horror discussion with three self-described cowards who unpack iconic horror films through the lenses of storytelling craft, character psychology, and mood rather than gore. Episodes emphasize how films create atmosphere, fear, and emotional resonance, often weaving in personal anecdotes, film history, and thoughtful critiques of pacing, tone, and subtext. The show stands out for its inclusive, welcoming vibe, banter-filled camaraderie, and a knack for making scary movies approachable for both newcomers and long-time fans, while spotlighting smaller or overlooked titles alongside mainstream picks.
