  • Solid

Overall, an excellent podcast that’s witty and full of interesting and insightful stories about restaurants and food. One of the few podcasts too with episodes worth replaying after listening to the episodes. Having said that, my lone criticism and why I gave four stars to what’s actually become my favourite podcast is that new episodes seem sporadic and establishing a schedule for delivering these to listeners would be nice.

  • Refreshingly Honest and Ernest

Beware - If you play it on 1.5x speed it may make your head explode…but the content and topics are genuine and come off like a grown up version of a late night drink after service. They are all over the place and it feels/sounds right! My favorite podcast - not just food and cheffy techniques, its restaurant nitty gritty, wine, life, being a better parent and person, spattered with some good natured story telling

I worked for Dave years ago when he was a yelly tyrant chef. You’ve mellowed with age, Dave and it suits.
