Yee Howdy as they say over there in Texas!
Sacred realms is one of the best Zelda podcasts you can listen to. The hosts, Lyndon and Matt, always have an amazing time creating this pod, with recurring guests that give great insight into different perspectives on the series. As a fellow Australian I appreciate Cody’s episodes the most.
I started listening since the BOTW season and haven’t stopped since, even re-listening to it when I get the time to.

Did you know you can fit approximately 221 Rhode Islands in Texas? Hello from the smallest state in the country to the largest one in the lower 48! During the many hours maintaining a home with a couple kids and a guard dog who defines "bark is worse than her bite", your podcast has been keeping me company for a few years now. So much so, that yours is the first I’ve ever rated (5 Stars, of course). Personal lives aside, your show’s love and analysis of Zelda, brotherly dynamic, whiskey bits, an... more
what Sacred Realms did with their Totk season is nothing short of podcasting perfection. Plenty of chatter about Zelda out there but this is the only show that’s created an audio adaptation of the story. no shortcuts, it’s like a full audiobook. the only thing that’s disappointing is that afterwards i went into the back catalogue imagining they’d given this deep treatment to every game they’d covered. what a huge creative achievement the most recent season was. i’m now a master sword patron and ... more
These guys are great! I’ve been playing through all the Zelda games and found this show at the oracle of seasons season. It really does feel like having Zelda friends lol
See title! Come for the brotherly banter, stay for guests who are undoubtedly better than the hosts.

This show centers on deep, long-running discussions of iconic Zelda titles, with recurring hosts and a rotating set of guests who illuminate game design, storytelling, and lore. Episodes frequently blend nostalgia with rigorous analysis of gameplay systems, world-building, and narrative arcs, while peppering in personal anecdotes, drink culture, and community updates. A notable strength is the hosts' strong banter and chemistry, paired with thoughtful guest perspectives that broaden the series beyond pure history to include design critique and fan-driven insights. The format shift to themed arcs (e.g., game-by-game retrospectives, side series) and planned crossovers (non-Zelda titles) suggests a flexible, audience-engaged approach that appe... more
