  • Avoidance

This show and others pointedly ignore what is happening right outside their window, the Israeli team was booed at the Olympic opening ceremony but just ignore that. Don’t ask for rights if you don’t believe it applies to everyone.

  • Show has plummeted

I used to love this show!! Now it’s just Joe talking about ChatGPT or complaining and the cohosts just say “uhuh” and “yep” the whole time. Everybody is checked out. It’s the same thing behind the paywall too.

  • Americans aren’t just ignorant, they’re proudly ignorant.

The occupation of Palestine hasn’t been going on for thousands of years. The Nakba was in 1948. That’s like saying Harry Truman won the U.S. presidency thousands of years ago.

S18EP06 - Rate-a-Queen Talent Show Part 2
Q: What did you think of the top two and bottom two decisions this episode?
We both felt the top two (Athena Dion and Jane Don't) were a mixed bag, with Athena's song coming off as mid and Jane Don't delivering a more engaging performance, but Mikey Meeks and Sierra Mist clearly being mismatched for the bottom-two outcome, and Sierra's lip-sync being underwhelming in a way that sealed her fate.
Interview: Extra Special Guest Judge Julianne Nicholson
Q: What was it like meeting RuPaul and being on the panel?
Ru was delightful and the day was surreal, with a calm, respectful backstage atmosphere.
Interview: Extra Special Guest Judge Julianne Nicholson
Q: What did you know going in? What do they tell you? Or do you just go in blind?
You are completely blind and you show up not knowing the names or details, then you watch the videos later to piece things together.
S18EP05 - The Big Takeaway
Q: Were the right two queens in the top and was the right queen placed in the bottom?
Yes, they did a great job and deserved to be in the top, but I would have liked to see a third queen as well.
RulaskaThoughts: Season 18. Episode 2.
Q: What do you think is the best way to ethically consume Drag Race?
Going to a local gay bar to watch it and support the local queens could be a way to ethically consume the show.
