Back on the farm, jetlagged and hustling. I’ve been sitting with this question since I decided not to renew my lease in Asunción.
So today, I want to give you my thoughts.
There's some frosty farm pics over on my Substack.
Enjoy!

This podcast has influenced me a lot, and I think some of the basic concepts Gordon talks about are pretty crucial. On the other hand, I disagree with him on a fair amount and find some of his interests, uninteresting. It’s my observation that in order to do magic you have to have the confidence to be the god of your own universe. But I think that from the outside this looks a little bit like an annoying propensity to unduly privilege your own perspective. I get the impression that this happens... more
Having finally achieved in early 2025 listening to all the episodes of Rune Soup all the way back to 2015, I can say that it’s been a very wild, wild ride! Over nine years as a listener I hear the transition through the complete Covid-19 impacts, heard multiple interviews of the same people and enjoyed every one, and gained a weird insight into Gordon White’s mind. I’ve appreciated nearly every episode! This podcast has impacted my magickal practice in many ways. Thank you, Gordon, thank you.
The last episode makes the guest sound as if he had massive sigmatism, which he doesn’t. It’s hard to understand the content at times and his volume is often way too low.
Interesting subjects but the host is an absolute wrong ‘un.
There’s better out there in the podcast world, do yourself a favour and listen to them instead.
I’m open minded; I started following this show because the host interviewed someone I’m interested in, Richard Metzger. I believe in magic. But I’m not so open-minded as to have lost my discernment. These are half baked conspiracies. You believe that Kamala Harris had a wire concealed in her earring during the debate with Trump? OK, this is your guy. But that is so easily debunked. And this show is chock full of that sort of misinformation. spreading misinformation is a satanic task, because t... more
