Fantastic explication and analysis, almost totally trampled by low quality audio. Major balancing/volume problems. I can even get past the filler phrases! But the audio 😭
I usually judge shows on if I like them. I catch what I catch, but did I enjoy it? I really enjoyed this show. Binge watched the seasons 1-3 and seen 4 in real time. I didn’t find this pod until I was uncertain of the finale. Rewatched following this show and what happened to my loud girl Kate?! I hope she’s ok. This pod did a great job of helping really appreciate the show. Any show I’m interested in I’d follow y’all if you’re covering it.
I enjoy the commentators insights and commentary and would have given 5 stars. HOWEVER! Podcasts only have dialogue to engage with the audience, so the very frequent use of ‘like’ is distracting beyond belief. Often there is 4, 5, and as many as 7 ‘likes’ in one sentence. In some instances there are 2 words only between two ‘likes’. Folks who want to present a podcast, seriously need to be more linguistically sophisticated.
Probably yknow the best and most yknow in depth look at yknow every episode of yknow the best series on tv yknow currently. A rotating selection of yknow guests also help analyse and break down yknow every week. The yknow timing of the episode drops are also yknow, great as it leads into the episode.
The production style and yknow overall production is yknow a bit raw. The gain and volume yknow between the hosts seem unbalanced with yknow the female host doing too much yknow scream shouting.
I listen to nearly every Succession Podcast but none come close to the thoughtful insight this pod brings.
