I listen to this whenever they get around to recording an episode, but I had to turn off the latest episode on Dark Conspiracy. The background music was so loud it was drowning out whatever the host was saying; I could barely hear him! Great content, poor execution.
I think I've found my new favourite podcast. Wonderfully nostalgic and great style. Love it.
This is a great podcast. The format works really well - the history of an RPG from yesteryear followed by a roundtable. It’s well researched and well prepared. The banter between the host Iain and his mates Steve and Jason is excellent. There are some Actual Play episodes too if that’s your thing (it’s not mine).
Whilst it’s not enough to deduct a star, the sound level of the background music is sometimes a bit iffy - especially if you have Grognard-level hearing. Episode 39 is basically unli... more
