  • Empire of the Ghouls

I started listening as I was considering running Empire of the Ghouls for my home campaign. This actual play was excellent and kept me engaged for the entire campaign.

  • The most practical DMing advise on the internet.

If you are a dungeon master playing the published modules in Roll20 like Eric and his friends, then I believe this podcast (and his YouTube) is the most valuable DMing resource that exists anywhere. The live play episodes anchor the series, but the “Crafting” and “Frostside Chat” episodes are the secret sauce. Eric is a very practical DM, which makes his breakdown and prep of the published material so satisfying in the Crafting episodes, and then you get to see how his predictions play out live.... more

  • Great actual play content.

Eric (DM) does a great job creating content for people who likes a look behind the scenes and then see how it plays out. This is a live-streamed actual play D&D 5e that is now available as podcast content. The players have fun and aren’t scared to have fun. Having Crafting episodes and followed up by a weekly game to see what works, what doesn’t, and what gets changed is the main reason I’ve been following them for a while. Give it a listen; you’ll get hooked into the story too.
