Ryan has a natural knack for connecting and communicating with people in the coffee community. His deep love for coffee and people have a way of drawing you in for each listen.
Ryan blasted open the doors to the inner workings, minds and actions of individuals working in the coffee industry. Whereas it’s been accepted and encouraged to shed light on labor, health, and infrastructure inner-workings…and everyone loves to dish on their understanding of “seed to cup”, there is little discussion on the glue that holds these ends together. R!WC gives a voice to the individual and a podium to speak their piece. And I look forward for many, many more seasons to come.
I’ve listened to all of Ryan’s podcasts from the very beginning and they continue to be interesting and informative. I especially like how the podcasts have evolved into learning about his guests and their unique life journeys. Ryan as the host has a knack for knowing when to listen intently while allowing the guest to tell their story. He keeps the tempo of the show moving with ease. I highly recommend giving the Roast West Coast a listen as well as Ryan’s Coffee Smarter podcast.
I love hearing the range of experiences from the guests on Ryan's show! I have also been able to share my own personal experience as a business owner and green coffee importer. The approach is natural, conversational and very educational.
As a coffee roaster and coffee lover, I love hearing other peoples perspective and stories of brewing, roasting, starting a business, success and trials. Ryan’s questions and flow are easy listening and his guests are interesting. Always look forward to each episode.
