  • Meh

This is a bit meh - a bit snide and guests often about just slagging off stuff they don’t like - but end up showing that they are massively ignorant of subjects they talk about. Avoid

  • Some good stuff sometimes (covering Kenneth Grant was a highlight) but unfortunately they often exhibit a kind of London left wing mentality that irritates me (I am from the North).

  • Serious but not Woo

Ken and his cohosts always takes whatever occult topic is being discussed seriously, and refreshingly make clear what is true and what is debatable, and what is just nonsense. Also, they’re really just discussing this for the intellectual pursuit instead of trying sell something.

I find this valuable addition to my studies

  • Awesome guest. Host needs to practice.

Great guest. Host could do more research and prepare questions to match the guest. It felt like there was a bit of disconnect between the caliber of guest to host. Better questions would have helped. Develop your interviewing skills and you’ll have a decent podcast.

Meme Magick and the Unseen Internet with Shira Chess
Q: Do you see Meme Magick as almost like a bit of an evolution from Chaos Magic in a way?
Absolutely. I think it involved the evolution of sigils and hyper sigils to transform memes into Meme Magick.
Meme Magick and the Unseen Internet with Shira Chess
Q: What kind of drew you into the subject?
I had been writing games for so long and I was getting kind of burned out writing about video games.
Meme Magick and the Unseen Internet with Shira Chess
Q: Could you give us a brief biography of yourself, please?
I'm an academic, I teach at the University of Georgia, and I studied digital culture, and I previously studied video games.
Black Metal and the Occult with Dayal Patterson
Q: What role does the occult play in keeping Black Metal alive?
It's an important influence; it attracts a good proportion of people for whom that is important, but there are also many who aren't necessarily interested in the occult.
Black Metal and the Occult with Dayal Patterson
Q: Do you think Black Metal can kind of genuinely function as a ritual?
I think so. It has to be serious to be Black Metal; however, there's a blurred line because the occult can be quite theatrical.
