Richard Parks’ expedition to ski solo, unassisted and unsupported from the coast of Antarctica to the South Pole has been cut short, ending prematurely on day 17. We speak to some of those who know him best.

After 14 days, Richard's coast to Pole expedition is on hold. His body has broken down after battling against Antarctica's extreme weather conditions. We get the latest.
