This is an audio version of Richard Herring's Warming Up blog, available to read at www.richardherring.com/warmingup, but there might be a few little extra surprises thrown in as well and exclusive audio blogs. Warming Up is thought to be the second longest running consecutive daily blog in the world, having been started in November 2002. Richard Herring is a comedian and writer and podcaster who ... more

My new hero and role model is the unbreakable Sepp Blatter. I also go to Redhill and rue Alfred Nobel's failure to destroy it.
I discuss the wonder of innocence, the terror of loss and the tiniest lloyds bank in the world. I don't need to tell you that that is Kenneth Blackburne, can't believe I didn't use him in my Ken based chicken routine
Even more frustration with BT Infinity. How long will this last? Clue in the name.
I try out a new smart watch and feel pleased with myself that I haven't gone with Apple (even though I slightly wish I had gone with Apple)
I want to work, but have been tired out and turned grey(er) by this happy little monster.
I currently have no time to write a short and concise review.
I feel that by rushing to formulate even the shortest of complementary sentences I would be in no way convey the well written nature of these beautifully scripted, edited and directed audio pieces.
Should I have time in the future I shall return to write a review along the lines of
"fuk me dat iz amaze ballz"
" Goodness gracious me! My trousers fell off from laughing so much" or even
"The first 371 episodes are difficult to listen to... more
I love the added attraction of robot voice to warming up, i find the silly laugh after he decribes a human tragedy very funny. I think this says more about me than the robot though .
Robot voice,
Robot voice
Who are you?
What have you sacrivoiced?
Glad to hear that Richard and his hard-working producer are embracing cutting edge technology, but slightly disappointed that the Robot Voice hasn't pursued its very promising "observational comedy" direction any further.
Would have been 4 star but the new addition of the Robot Voice has bumped it up to a 5.
Long live the Robot Voice
I am too lazy to read a blog everyday, even if it's funny an interesting. So it's really nice to be able to download this and listen to while doing mundane tasks. I'm loving robot voice, does he look like Metal Mickey?
Thank you Mr. R. Herring!
The recent takeover of this podcast by Robot Voice has added some much needed humour into this previously serious enterprise. His singing at the start stays with me throughout the day - but I think of this as a good thing...
A great podcast where a robot voice describes this day in history and warns of the impeding robot apocalypse. Not to be missed. Also features some bloke reading out his blogs but everyone surely skips that part...
The introduction of the stupid robot voice that threatens listeners to this podcast is the worst thing I've ever heard! The 'actual' podcast is a funny diary thing. It's much better than it sounds. Try it, but ignore the stupid robot voice
Herring is back on form with a new, warmer, more human comedy partner than before. Rich & Robot Voice, together with the ever present, ever silent Terry, get into all sorts of crazy hi-jinx and interesting discussions everyday. What will they talk about next?! The symbols on the Chinese flag? 5 Stars.
I will happily help the robots when the revolution comes.
Fun daily diary/breakdown of comedian Richard Herring.
I have really enjoyed this podcast over the past year or so, but the recent(ish) introduction of the stupid 'robot voice' has got past it's sell-by date now! If Mr Herring doesn't stop it soon I think I will have to unsubscribeas it just puts my teeth on edge whenever I hear it!
I really enjoy Richard's Warming Up Podcast. Here, dear reader, is a chance to take a peek into the highs and lows of being funny professionally. It can be quite compelling at times. I must say, if Richard ever stopped doing these I think I'd kill myself.
Whilst being anally violated by Kris Akabusi wearing the Frank Sidebottom mask then this would be the one
