Been listening for a couple of years now. I’ve listened to every episode. Just recently switched over from Spotify to listening on Apple Podcasts. I just finished listening to the episode on Frank E. Higgins and absolutely loved it. Higgins reminds me of my wife’s great-grandmother. I never got to meet her, but I love hearing people who knew her talk about her. I only know her as Granny Pearl. I discovered this podcast recently and love it! To hear the history and sermons of these blessed saints through the ages is such a blessing. My favorites so far are Bonhoeffer, Moody, John Wesley, Jerome and Luther, But I’m also enjoying the stories of those less known. I’m listening to at least one a day.
I’m a Christian writer/editor and an adult teacher at a new church plant. I love the wisdom I glean from some of these wonderful histories and sermons!
