This is just great information. I get my blood tested at least twice a year and I’m always on the upper end when it comes to my fasting blood sugar. My doctor tells me to “watch my carbs” but hasn’t explained to me why it makes sense or how insulin, cortisol etc affect your metabolism and your body’s ability to burn fat.
