Surprise! A special episode of Retro Blissed is here! Trevor has an open talk about the hole Retro Blissed has left in his life, the possible future of this channel, and ends by doing a quick year in review of Retro Blissed episodes from 2023.
On this very special episode of Retro Blissed, Trevor and Johnny talk about some very important things… It’s pretty boring and WHO CARES??? The second half is the fun part: a MASSIVE sized Bliss quiz full of insight into the twisted minds behind the ... more
Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga came out in 2003 for the Gameboy Advance. It was the first Mario & Luigi game, but the third Mario RPG behind the SNES original and Paper Mario for N64. Will Trevor and Johnny be charmed by this offbeat RPG adventure, or ... more
Castlevania III for the NES and Famicom is the last in the blood sucking trilogy for the NES, and considered by many one of the best in the series. But will Trevor and Johnny be able to overcome the immense challenge of this NES hard game, or will th... more
The guys review the other Super Mario Land game for Gameboy. That is, after some of the worst attempts at banter ever attempted. Seriously, it seems this podcast just gets worse and worse and no one cares. When Retro Blissed literally ruins audio for... more
Eliminator Boat Duel is an action packed top down racer for the NES. It also features 8-bit bikini clad women, which, much like the powerful speed boats featured in the game, proves too much for a couple of immature morons to handle.
Link's Awakening was the first portable Zelda game. Trevor and Johnny review the DX version released later for the Gameboy Color. This episode includes a new Bliss Quiz, an embarrassing story, and was too big to fit into a pocket...much like Trevor a... more
Knight Rider is a 1989 Nintendo Entertainment System game based on the hit tv series. Tim joins Johnny and Trevor to decide if this game is a Hasselhoff, or just a hassle.
Just two good ol’ boys talking about Nintendo tapes and Ninja Turtles.
Retro Blissed is the best podcast for retro video games! It’s fun, hilarious, and really puts you in the mood to try out some of these games! Even the bad ones! Well…SOME. I’m looking at you Bubsy 3D 👀 But really a terrific podcast and I highly suggest everyone to listen to these awesome dudes!
If you like retro games then this is the podcast for you. Keep up the TMNT talk.
Probably one of the best retro video game podcasts around. My ONLY complaint is that there is NOT ENOUGH COVERAGE OF TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES!!! Give the people what they want! More banter involving everyone's favorite pubescent reptiles in a half shell! GO NINJA GO NINJA GO!
Please, enough with the teenage mutant ninja turtles.
Makes my bowel movements more enjoyable!
LOVE THE SHOW!!!
If you like retro games then this is the podcast for you
It’s been over a year since I wrote a review telling you guys how great y’all are and over a year later nothing has changed! I would love a response to what I wrote to Johnny on Xbox tho!! grimlock350
These guys are a couple of bafoons, but they know it and that makes them lovable. Trevor gets really serious about certain games and Johnny doesn’t miss the opportunity to give him a hard time about it. You can tell they’ve known each other forever. They’re basically an old married couple.
If you want some some great backwoods hillbilly podcasting on retro games this is your show! JK! These guys are great, just some old friends discussing games and having a great time doing it. I always look forward to listening to them and they always bring the laughs.
So, I just found out this podcast existed a few months ago and I’ve already listened to most of the episodes! I didn’t think I would be into it at first since the only experience I have with retro gaming is the PlayStation 1 and a couple SNES games when I was super young. But these guys make it super entertaining! You just wanna keep clicking on the next one! The show has also gotten me more interested in retro gaming and gaming in general. I would love to get more involved with them in the futu... more
I started listening to Retro Blissed a few weeks ago and can’t stop listening to them. I don’t think I’ve laughed as much on other podcasts but also they’re fun and It’s awesome learning about retro games that I’ve started to play them myself.
In my completely unbiased opinion (meaning I am unrelated to any host of this podcast), and as a person with zero experience (dare I say interest) in retro gaming- this stuff is entertaining. Although I was slightly heartbroken that MURPHY was renamed Fred. Even though I got a shout out in that one... C’MON GUYS, it’s MURPHY.

Probably the best podcast about retro games, gout, and southern living.
One of my favorite podcasts in general, let alone for retro gaming.
1) Hilarious banter
2) Super in-depth coverage of the game
3) Very minimal wasted time. No super long tangents about unrelated things that's happening in their lives (like almost every other podcast), unless it connects to the game. Then I welcome it
4) There are not many things I look forward to in life than their opening skits. This is like the Mad TV of retro gaming. The creativity, the humor, ad libs, the unintentional/unk... more
