法華經明諸佛實相為體，本經以一切事究竟堅固為體；法華經以一乘因果為宗，本經以不生滅因果為宗；法華以斷疑生信為用，本經以離愛得解脫為用；本經體宗用皆同於法華，故亦名妙蓮華。蓮華華果同時，華中含果；如大佛頂理，為眾生因中本具，為諸佛果上親證，正是因該果海，果徹因源。又蓮華出於污泥不染，清水不沾，喻妙法隨染緣入生死不染，隨淨緣入涅槃不沾。
