I accidentally found this podcast when I was looking for something new to listen to and I got so excited. I was there every Thursday watching Living Single. I love hearing you guys talk about your time on the show and that time in history. Thank you for doing this!
I was on YouTube and came across this podcast that mentioned the backstory of the show. Of course, I wanted to dig deeper. I think the first time I discovered Living Single was back when I was in middle school (around ’95–’99). I loved it, but I always felt like I couldn’t catch the new episodes on time. I was in 6th grade when this show premiered and I absolutely loved it. Now, at 44, I’m loving hearing Erika and Kim give us the details behind the show I loved so much!! As a yt child growing up in a very yt state, the show was one of my first glimpses into black culture. The podcast delves even deeper into it which I really appreciate. My daughter sent me this I was so happy I have watched and re watched and rewatched alll of the seasons !!! Yall made me feel seen although I’m Latina , I can relate to you all !
