Been a long time listener of Sammy from daily fantasy sports podcasts and have always loved his personality. He develops his story of what’s happening at the table very well. Even someone like me who has never played poker at a for real money table can get important information from each hand while trying to learn this complex game. It’s almost like I’m getting the table experience without actually having to go to a poker room. Keep it up man. Don’t fire yourself off into the sun too often.
I loved the 3-part WSOP episodes (and the pod as a whole). You did an excellent job of conveying the emotion of playing on poker's largest stage. From the pre-game mental health prep, to the blind structuring, to the impacts of stacks, and how the finality of losing a once a year tournament with such a large buy-in can affect decision making. Listen to this show; it has a great pace, covers a ton of material, and has a great host. Nice guys are supposed to be bad at poker aren’t they?
What’s my prize lol
This podcast is a must listen to for all cash game players. You will laugh and learn a lot from it.
I’ve been bringing through this whole podcast at work over the last week. Very entertaining, and very instructive. Many other poker pods I’ve listened to were just guys reading what a solver spat out and frankly that’s neither entertaining nor informative. Your podcast makes you realize there’s a lot more to poker than that. Keep up the good work
