I have been looking for a podcast like this for a while. I love listening to Poker hands in the background, and I have not found a whole lot of shows that do them. Sure there are 100 different Poker podcasts, but very few have in-depth analysis of hands. This guy not only provides a lot of interesting analysis, but he does it in a very entertaining way. He sounds like the kind of guy I would love to have a beer with! If I were Obama, I would definitely give him a medal 😆
Great pod. Great insights for beginner and advanced players.
Glad to have you back putting out episodes! Looking forward to future ones!

I love the podcast, I’ve been listening to dozens and dozens of the old ones. Keep making them!
This is by far one of my favorite poker podcasts. I love that he quickly breaks down multiple hands with very thoughtful analysis. I find myself pausing the pod to think how I’d play the spots and then listening to how it actually was played. I feel like I learn ways to improve my game and think more thoroughly about hands almost every time I listen. I’m very glad Sammy is back playing. Good luck in the Main.

A sharp, hands-on poker show that combines deep hand analysis with candid storytelling from the live game floor. Across episodes, the host walks through significant hands from cash games and tournaments, sharing reads, bet-sizing decisions, and mindset tips while weaving in personal reflections, tilt, and industry observations. Expect practical takeaways on post-flop play, metagame dynamics, and live-session discipline, all delivered with humor and a blunt, relatable voice. A standout element is its focus on real-time decision-making and emotional control, framed by high-stakes moments, long-session grind, and WSOP coverage that appeals to serious players and devoted fans alike, making it useful for listeners aiming to level up or simply en... more
