Four friends in North County (San Diego, California) indiscriminately watch every god damned movie that hits the local theater. Inspired by years of regularly breaking down countless movies in the same theater's parking lot solely to entertain one another, each episode documents this spirit of immediacy via a lively roundtable discussion featuring spoilers, movie news, swearing, and movie games. Drink every time the host says “grounded” or “titular.”
These guys save me so much money and time with their thorough and generally funny takes on whatever is out at the moment. I listen weekly and enjoy it
Another sad gang of Gen X’ers think they have some kind of profound opinions on film and think it’s worth sharing on a podcast. There’s no way to learn how to be funny or interesting. One is either born with it or not. And these dorks do NOT have it. I’d rather listen to a teenage Tik Toker list off their top 5 favorite Quentin Tarantino movies. And even that would somehow be less cringey than this self important jerk fest of a podcast.
