Four friends return to a sci-fi series we all have a strong connection to - Star Trek: The Next Generation. It debuted in 1987 when we were all young, and now in 2020, we re-engage with the series, one episode at a time, and re-consider Star Trek from a new perspective as grown-up fans.

Smash bang! Here we get a look at the ensigns looking to move up the ranks of Starship Enterprise. That's right - it all starts here with amazing characters, some of which we've seen before like Sito Jaxa and Alyssa Ogawa, as well as new characters S... more
What do you say about a colony on an alien world that tries to be Scotland but is actually just a setting for misogynistic gaslighting, or, perhaps, ghost-lighting? I don't know. We're workshopping that one. Just like the writers were with this scrip... more

As someone who grew up with Star Trek TNG, it’s been a lot of fun reliving and reviewing each episode. The cast of this show is great, and their insights in the production side of things is really fascinating. It’s fun to watch TNG episodes alongside the podcast and compare notes.
A great way to rewatch and revisit an old favorite for what it is, what you didn’t know it was, and to laugh at it when it falls on its face.
This podcast has only been around for a little over a month and I'm already finding myself patiently waiting for the next episode. All the hosts are funny and likable. Fun conversations that walk the line between being very knowledgable on the subject and not taking it too seriously. Off to a great start!
I enjoyed this a lot. I was 13 when TNG was released and my whole family watched it together. I will be rewatching the episodes along with the podcast.
I particularly booked the commentary on acting styles/choices and insight into those aspects.
No one mentioned Peter Dinklage is in the first episode! :)
Really enjoyed this first episode and looking forward to many more. The hosts show passion and knowledge of Star Trek and reinvigorate my passion for Star Trek and the trek worlds. Thank you!
