What I appreciate most about this podcast is how nuanced it is. The topics are always handled with such care. Daysha has strong thoughts on the way we approach modern friendship as adults today, but there’s no shame or lecturing, just curiosity. Man this podcast covers some interesting ground — interracial friendships, boundaries, parent/child friendships, feminism, etc. The guests are that nice blend of interesting and knowledgeable and entertaining that to me makes a good talk show podcast. I think my fav ep had to be her mom & sister bc it’s just so hilarious/honest/insightful. Whatever episode you choose — Daysha’s just got such a warmth and humor it’s just a better day when I can hanging out with her voice in my ear. I like to list... more

I especially enjoyed episode 20 with Shar, because I’m a Third Culture Kid and I resonated with some of her sharings on feeling confused and out of place world a... more
