I really do love this podcast and think it’s super informative and entertaining especially when she has SET employees on. I can’t stand how everything needs to be related back to Lindsey. She makes everything about her and SET. Please just let the guests talk about their brand and their journey instead of trying to circle everything back to yourself and SET. If that’s what she ultimately wants to talk about, just do solo episodes.
She must have a lot of interesting experience to share but I feel like she just repeats the same stories a lot like defending herself re haters and the lounge clothing line getting messed up and having to pivot. Convos with guests somehow always seem to come back to those same things. It just felt very repetitive so I lost interest after a few eps.
Buttttt… The story about the humidity in Beverly Hills and the new nanny and the just getting back from vacation was where I stopped listening.
It takes a lot for me to listen to a podcast and like it, let alone write a review. But somehow Lindsey Carter has gotten me to love her podcast. Every Wednesday i cannot wait to listen to each episode. I don’t know how each week she drops an episode that matches my mood, she drops funny episodes, serious episodes, captivating episodes, inspiring episodes, she’s done it all. Most importantly she is genuine in each and every episode she releases. I have never seen an entrepreneur be so authentic ... more
