rav·el /ˈravəl/ verb 1. untangle or unravel something. noun 1. a tangle or cluster. The message of the Bible is simple enough for a child to understand but complex enough to keep scholars exploring for a lifetime. Like a beautifully woven tapestry, it’s made up of many threads that come together to form a beautiful whole. Ravel is a podcast where we explore the scriptures in a new and exciting way... more

Five stars for the excellent content. I’m not a fan of the intro music, but who cares? Audio levels are an issue for me though — quiet and laid back so turning it up to hear then loud enough to be a problem — in my very quiet truck I’ve had to turn the volume up all the way to actually hear all they are saying. This could just be me and my environment but I listen to Canary Cry Newstalk, another podcast Basil co-hosts, and it’s not an issue so maybe it’s intentional? Regardless, I still highly r... more

I am a Canary Cry News Talk Producer who followed the threads to ‘ravel’ AND I’M LOVIN’ IT. Without Basil, Gonz, Dr. Heiser, and now Dr. Chris, I would be mostly listening to podcasts about Star Wars and Middle Earth while wearing a tin foil hat… Ravel always delivers great conversations and perspectives while untangling and examining the Word. more
I thoroughly enjoy every episode of Ravel. The topics, speakers and discussions are diverse covering a wide range of topics. I don’t think there has ever been a time that i come away from listening to a podcast without learning at least one thing new. I frequently see things in a different way than I’ve seen before particularly when Dr Christopher is teaching or explaining a point or topic. I highly recommend this podcast!
Basil and Chris have a great style. You must add this to you podcast diet! more
