I just am really enjoying the world building - the reveal of the Four Casinos filled me with as much creative excitement as it did absolute dread. Max so successfully creates a world with so much vastness to it. We’ve travelled so far in less than 20 episodes and never once did I feel lost.
The combat in the first and second arc is so full of play and high stakes - and just as a whole this story so far has been so fun.
I’m so eternally delighted by this queer mess of fantastic roleplaying. I... more
The group synergy is undeniably enjoyable. The storytelling thus far has been so compelling! Lots of Humor and heart.
Listening to the third episode now, and I love the story and banter. Very cool world set up, and I like how you’ve started this adventure.
I saw your TikTok “if you hate the movie adaptations of PJO but know Logan Lerman was perfectly casted, you’ll love our podcast” so I had to check out your podcast lol
This podcast feels like hanging out with close friends. This is one of my favorite shows ever, can’t wait for more episodes from these amazing people!

A lively actual-play series that centers on a foursome of longtime friends running a tabletop RPG campaign. Episodes fuse high-stakes combat with improvisational worldbuilding, character-driven drama, and tight banter, all set inside a sprawling fantasy world full of quirky creatures and evolving mysteries. Listeners often highlight the strong group chemistry, inventive worldbuilding, thoughtful arcs, and moments of humor that balance stakes with heart. A notable through-line is how personal histories and relationships drive decisions, creating a sense of ongoing drama and camaraderie that's accessible to both new and seasoned TTRPG fans.
