I’m a massage therapy student, and I listened to the most recent episode of this podcast. It was awful.
The guest came across as smug and elitist, and he offered multiple claims discounting decades of physiology and anatomy research without much evidence or basis. In turn, the interviewer, in many cases, did not ask said guest to elaborate on these claims. I think neuroscience is important and valid, but not when it’s positioned as the end-all, be-all in what’s a very somatic field.
