Never really listened to this type of analysis on a film review podcast, let alone horror. Their episode for Alien: Covenant had my attention, so I downloaded the rest of the franchise, and now I’m hooked and subscribed!
These three have made me a believer. Jeremy, Emily, and Ben bring it every week! Between excellent guests, great selections, monthly themes, and everything else under the sun, I’ve never looked at horror under so many progressive lenses thanks to them. This podcast is your one-stop shop for this genre from spoopy to existentially terrifying!
An incredible show where some of your funniest, most insightful friends discuss horror films. It's clear that they love the genre enough to want it to be its best. My to-be-watched list increases with every episode.
One of my legit favorite horror podcasts- or just podcasts all around- Progressively Horrified is a blast and another reason to rejoice when Friday rolls around.
The vibe is pure hang-out session, with Jeremy, Emily and Ben/Bee as delightful hosts, easily bringing each guest into the fold and approaching horror films from all across the genreverse with good humor, and a relevant modern social lens with which to view it.

A sharp, discussion-driven show that applies a progressive lens to horror across film, TV, comics, and related media. Episodes consistently examine social justice, representation, gender, sexuality, race, and mental health within horror, often featuring guests who bring industry experience or scholarly perspectives. The format blends film analysis, cultural critique, and personal storytelling, with a conversational vibe that balances accessibility and thoughtful critique. Notable strengths include a diverse slate of guests, a clear emphasis on representation, and a willingness to challenge conventional horror tropes while keeping conversations engaging for both dedicated horror fans and broader audiences.
