Today, we're diving into one of my favorite comeback stories. Jim Palmer was a standout pitcher for the Baltimore Orioles, who called it a career in 1984. Seven years later, he decided he wasn't finished with the game he loved. Have any guests you wa... more
When you think of the NBA in the 1980's, you think of Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson, Larry Bird, Hakeem Olajuwon & much more. But what many forget is the large, limited, pasty 7-footer that sat at the end of every team's bench - The White Goon. And t... more
If you watch this show, you know that some of these stories may be difficult to talk about or listen to, but today we are diving into possibly the toughest. It's the hardest story I've ever had to cover, but in a way, was one of the proudest pieces I... more

My new favorite podcast. Interesting, insightful and Jeff doesn’t pull any punches. Also, love the HBO Series - “Winning Time” based on his book Showtime - Magic, Kareem, Riley, and the Los Angeles Lakers Dynasty of the 1980s”.

After every podcast I come away a little more informed, a little more enlightened and a greater desire to know more. Mr. Pearlman knows the devil is in the details and lures us in with the minutiae. An amazing writing with a true gift. Keep ‘em coming.
Amazing storytelling, per usual with Pearlman. Every episode blends great sports stories with humanity that makes the characters and listeners connect, even in the stories you feel you already know.
