  • A must for all stoke fans

Whether it’s current players or staff or someone from the glory days, this is always a great listen. I really liked the Liam Lawrence one particularly, it took me back to the promotion and the early days in the Premier League.

If we can have one with Walters or Crouch, that would be great. Keep up the good work. We’ll be with you.

Q: You could have gone to many different clubs from the outside looking in. You were linked with lots of different clubs that you could have gone to. Why Stoke?
I spoke to Jon, he was brilliant. The project that they were... and where they see us in the next, you know, year to two years brought me here.
Mark Stein: "Coming to Stoke changed my whole being", clearing up THAT Exeter goal and why the Potters fans were "crazy!"
Q: How did you feel about the atmosphere during the Derby matches against Port Vale?
The atmosphere was electric and the importance of such games was something we felt deeply.
Mark Stein: "Coming to Stoke changed my whole being", clearing up THAT Exeter goal and why the Potters fans were "crazy!"
Q: Did it feel special at the time, did you know you were creating a strong partnership with Bertie Biggins?
Yes, it definitely felt special and the chemistry between us was noticeable on the field.
Liam Lawrence (Part 2): Potters’ pride, a Pulis pre-season, major mistake and a home for life
Q: What do you remember about the whole game?
It was comical to see that some players would rather take a corner against us than let Rory throw the ball into the box.
Liam Lawrence (Part 2): Potters’ pride, a Pulis pre-season, major mistake and a home for life
Q: What was it like in the dressing room after that first match?
It was difficult because we got beat 3-1, but we felt we were in the game.
