It's an interesting podcast, although it's hugely sporadic and at times the audio quality of his interviewees isn't great. Certainly an interesting curio and fun if you find his videos interesting.
I love having a new podcast to listen to that gives educated perspectives on these topics. Very insightful and engaging episodes! Keep up the great work I’ll be supporting the Patreon
Listened to one discussion and parts of it was interesting but at several places I thought they completely missed the point. If you're gonna analyze something make sure you at least know the intention of the writers.
And that’s all I have to say about it, listen up!!
Love Jonathan’s channel and love this podcast. As someone who loves cinema and storytelling Jonathan and his guests are always opening my eyes to new perspectives and ideas about writing and filmmaking. I’m an artist and performer and the work of Pop Culture Detective really influences and strengthens my work too. Keep it up!
