Used to be one of the best political podcasts around, investigating interesting characters behind the scenes and policies floating about in Westminster then going out into the county to contrast against ‘the Westminster bubble’. Now feels like a university radio politics chat show with little production value (the new theme tune is just a bad Nokia ringtone), with a rightward lean (although has always editorialised somewhat to the right).

I enjoy these but the Burnham stuff - Christ on a bike. I lived in Mcr 1990s and the buses were already yellow and called the Bee Line. Used to say ‘careful when you step from the buzz’. All he’s done is join them up across GM. You’ve been in SW1 for too long. In Sascha’s case NSW1 😂
