Great podcast. For the non-pods like me who are allied health clinicians, just ‘Autotune’ “Podiatry” for your profession and you’ll get a lot of useful information for marketing your practice.

  • Highlighting passion within the Podiatry profession

This podcast changed my mindset, my practice, and how I approach clinic everyday. As a solo practitioner, podiatry can be really isolating, and it’s difficult to find help and guidance. The calibre of guests, the topics, the ideas for employed practitioners and business owners alike is astounding. So many ideas that can be applied to your practice, there is something for everyone here. I highly recommend this podcast!

405 - Adding Another Comma to Your Revenue with Neil Ateem
Q: So with the second thing you mentioned about packaging their ideas and thoughts together, how would a podiatrist go about doing that?
Start by defining the end result the patient wants, then map the treatment to milestones and a clear timeline. Build a package around that outcome rather than listing procedures, and frame it as a journey from current pain to a tangible, improved lifestyle, with milestones that give patients ongoing motivation.

Paul emphasizes starting now, sharing imperfect but useful content, and building experience over time; he recalls having thousands of videos and still improving, encouraging listeners to take the first step.
395 - The Social Media Blueprint for Podiatrists with Paul Macaulay
Q: Did you discuss timing across platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube, and how do you adapt content for each?
He notes Instagram as the primary business platform due to its user base and searchability, with TikTok helping reach a broader audience and YouTube used for repackaging content for different viewers; platform timing varies by audience needs and goals.
395 - The Social Media Blueprint for Podiatrists with Paul Macaulay
Q: What were the four things you shared about creating content, and how do they help podiatrists?
He outlines setting up a searchable Instagram profile, choosing a clean bio and profile image, generating around 20 video ideas from questions received in clinic and on reception, and using hooks and faceless filming to simplify production while maintaining impact.
395 - The Social Media Blueprint for Podiatrists with Paul Macaulay
Q: What got you into podiatry and why are you in Singapore?
