  • Was a great podcast once

    Now it’s a political, opinionated podcast that uses stories to push opinions. Sad.

  • The other podcasts by the production team are far better (escape pod, pseudo pod). This one is insufferable. The host is awful, and attempts to rainbow wash and virtue signal half of everything, and find "patriarchy" or similar in EVERYTHING.(and I'm NB and not straight btw). In doing so, it becomes insufferable and irritating.

    Stories are average, the music..oh dear god the music. Either declare the bias, or make it an actual fantasy short story podcast and remove it.

  • Prioritizes emotional expression over solid writing and narrative

    This is an interesting podcast if you’re looking for something a little experimental, that seems to prioritize emotional expression over great writing and narrative. The people who make it or obviously very passionate and there is value in that. Unfortunately, I think some of the short stories would be better off if the author just worked on poetry to express themselves since it feels like their chief goal is self expression. I’m definitely a progressive, but I wonder if this pod puts too much... more
