  • Rubbish now.

Was good but narrators can barely speak English, heavy accents, poor presentation bad pronouncing dumb stories too many colonialisms. Just annoying now.

  • And amazing collection of podcasts I've listened to for years. Today I finally decided to post a review in gratitude for the hosting of a series focused on Palestinian voices. I'm a queer Jewish American who has visited and volunteered in Palestine twice, once 12 years ago & again this year 6 months into escalated genocide in Gaza. This people, their traditions, cultures, & lives matter. Thank you for sharing their stories & helping to humanize people experiencing the worst horrors imaginable.

I just fancy something a little bit more dow... more

  • Regularly has good stories

Great variety. Enjoy it on the commute. Sometimes there is a string of “alt” themes that get dragged out a little to long but easy to delete those and get to the fresh stuff.

  • Brilliant podcast

Great mix of stories. Some are more to my taste than others (of course), but they all transport me to another place and I’ve never heard a bad one or a boring one.

Over time, I’ve come to realise that the stories that aren’t to my taste are actually the best ones - they help me see the world through different eyes, encourage me to develop empathy for people that aren’t like me, and generally broaden my horizons.
