  • I’ve been listening to this podcast since Larry Scott

Yeah… so I’ve been listening to this podcast since 2021. My first listen was the announcement of Larry Scott being fired. (For those who don’t know, years ago there used to be a West Coast based athletic conference. It was mostly average at football but elite at the sports that really matter like beach volleyball. As an aside, we had seven TV channels covering sports like tumbling and swimming but no one knew that because most people believed the PAC12 channels were just a myth since there was n... more

  • Thank you for the mediocrity

Every week I look forward to the POC. 2 bros chatting about pac 12 sports, without taking it overly serious or being complete hacks. After leaving socal after graduating, it's nice hearing two guys who have some of that old school pac 12 charm. As conferences grow, my interest has waned but hearing you two reminds of a simpler, more mediocre time.

Come for the definitive rankings of 19th century Secretaries of State and which Disney princess is the kinkiest, stay for the mediocre football talk, fruity beer, rants about flyover states, and appropriate places for football coaches to engage in autoeroticism (hint: not at the office.) As a long-time POC listener, I’ve genuinely enjoyed Bert and Ernie’s takes on most things, except for when the tall drink of water with two first names describes this product a simulcast. For the love of Chase G... more

Q: What are your thoughts on Cronin's constant interruptions of reporters during press conferences?
I typically don't mind it as it resembles a natural conversation, but if he takes it out on reporters when he's mad, that becomes problematic.
