  • Tightly edited, exciting actual play

Listening to actual play recordings of RPGs are fun, but they can occasionally be long to the point of inviting the fast forward button. Fortunately, the peeps behind Pocket-Sized Play edit the sessions into 22-minute sized chunks that retain the context and thrilling moments of role playing. Highly recommend.

I love the no-nonsense story-only editing in this series. Always amazing chemistry between the people and top notch stories to listen to.

  • High quality RPG AP

This is actual play at its finest. This isn’t a comedy podcast, this is high drama at the table, with smart editing and fantastic players. You won’t regret subscribing.

I'm not a huge fan of actual plays for role playing games, even though I absolutely love to play a variety of systems and with many players and at many conventions. The problem is that most APs have poor audio quality, or lack focus, or have to much non play drama mixed in. But these APs have none of those issues... the quality is awesome. The story is focused, edited, and has great background audio often mixed in to boot. The game systems are excellent, and the unrelated chit chat is non existe... more

  • Nice and Relaxing

I love listening to this crew play, it's well edited and is a nice way to get an AP without the annoying bits present in other AP podcasts.
