  • Got me with the Realism

I always listened to Sacred Symbols. Anytime i tried to listen to another PlayStation show, it just didn’t stick. Then someone recommended this show. The decision to have a PlayStation gamer and Nintendo first gamer on the show makes for great listening. Fresh approach, different opinions and some absolute hilarious disagreements. Never thought I’d ever find someone who knew as much about PlayStation as Colin, but this show has him. (Sunny). Keep it up guys, I now have another PS show to listen ... more

  • Great Show

Only gaming podcast I listen to. Look forward to it every week. That being said, it drives me nuts how Alex can never finish a thought without being interrupted or talked over and cut short. It’s like 30 times an episode. My only complaint.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Sunny Q&A - PlayStation Neat Episode: 284 (Part 2)
Q: What does the gaming industry look like in 10 years, growth or decline?
The panel envisions growth in terms of players and services rather than just hardware sales, predicting three viable PS7 models (a premium box, handheld app, and a subscription-based cloud option) while noting ongoing hardware shifts and the enduring dominance of major platforms like PlayStation Network, Game Pass, and Steam.
Sunny Q&A - PlayStation Neat Episode: 284 (Part 2)
Q: Do you think Kratos should remain the face of God of War, or should the series pivot to a new lead?
Sunny argues that Kratos is central to God of War's identity and that replacing him would be akin to removing Mario from Mario games; the character and his story are the core draw, with Atreus potentially contributing in future installments but not replacing Kratos."
Sunny Q&A - PlayStation Neat Episode: 284 (Part 2)
Q: What PlayStation Prediction have you made over the years that you feel most vindicated by now?
Sunny explains that many predictions have come true and highlights his earlier emphasis on a broader horizon of PlayStation releases and ecosystem growth, not just isolated game drops, framing it as vindication of his anticipatory mindset rather than a single lucky guess.
Alex Q&A Session - PlayStation Neat - Ep: 284 Part 1
Q: If PlayStation could take one franchise from Nintendo and develop with an unlimited budget, what would you choose and why?
Alex would pick Eternal Darkness as a mature, narrative-driven property that could benefit from a contemporary, high-budget PlayStation studio, while acknowledging Nintendo's iconic storytelling legacy and the potential for a bold, surprising reboot through a Sony first-party team.
Trigger Discipline: The FPS Rivalry Reloaded - FPS: A PlayStation Podcast Ep: 251
Q: Is it worth paying for PlayStation Plus or has it become something we just keep paying for out of habit rather than real benefit?
For me, the value definitely feels like it is there because I've been able to play 14 full games this year, which would have cost me almost £550 if I brought them separately.
