We recorded this gem a while back but because Joram we are only publishing it now. So if any of our jokes feel dated, it’s because of that. Clearly. We are always very topical and on point with our humour.

I love everything about the podcast except that the cat facts are rarely about cats. This is exactly like when I complained online that dinosaur print underwear wasn’t available in adult sizes and my sister asked me what size I wear, but didn’t give me any dinosaur underwear at all for almost a full year.
I love this podcast, admittedly, it includes a lot more than just plant molecular biology, but I enjoy the other segments just as much.
Also, I know it has been stated before by others, but even tho the hosts are cat people, they seem to be confused on exactly what qualifies as a cat. As a dog person, I am ok with this mix up. I recommend starting this podcast from the beginning, it will make much more sense than if you start at their latest episode or somewhere in the middle.
I love the way Tegan and Jorem approach plant science. Their willingness to learn more and confront their blindspots gives me hope for humanity
Really appreciate this pod. It is such a pleasant experience having other people do the heavy lifting of interpreting and digesting science writing for me - all I have to do is sit back, cook dinner, and listen. I’ve learned quite a lot and it’s been gratifying to watch Joram and Tegan grow as hosts.
Thanks and good luck you two!
