Funny, familiar, and quietly painful. Then funny again.
A mysterious and aching mood, while also darkly funny. Quirky details that show very smart writing - real humans in real, eccentric places. Precisely directed & performed.
I’m only one episode in, and I wish I could listen to more! Looking forward to the rest. Moira Stone is so good about letting you inside her world just with the way she catches her breath. And matthew freeman’s words are a perfect lonely poetry. So good.
In only five minutes, I’m hooked! (I am especially sympathetic to the protagonist’s coffee mug situation.) Honestly, it’s rare to get such quality in a bite-size serving. I’ll be listening and waiting for each new episode!
This is great. A little spooky without being slow. First episode is a good hook in a short time. I’m glad we will get the whole series by the end of the month.
