Snail is a decent hockey analyst and normally seems like a good guy, but he should apologize for and retract his absurd and uncalled for comments about hatred for people from the South and how people in warm climates don’t deserve hockey. I am not even from the South but found these comments quite offensive. Look how successful hockey has been in several warm climate cities (ex- Tampa, Carolina, Dallas, DC, Anaheim, LA). Many kids became hockey fans or players because of these teams. Just becaus... more
These guys just aren't good. I want stats, metrics, serious discussion. They give none of these. These are just a couple of jabronis talking about the Penguins at a basic level. You really get nothing from this show. It makes me dumber for listening. Put some effort into this podcast and stick to the subject.Do some research. People aren't going to invest their time into a podcast you aren't investing any time preparing for.The mail segment questions need to be about hockey.Lmk when u grow up
This was actually a great, fun and insightful show in the past despite its irregular release schedule. But without Hooks (Jim), the long-winded pacing and shallow discussions really cripple this show. People who regularly watch Penguin games won’t learn much or hear anything too remarkable. Gave him a pass for nerves on the first episode, but he was a train wreck in the second episode. Frank mumbled slowly in his monotone voice sounding bored and slightly intoxicated. Worse, though, was how unprepared he was and how little he knew about the games and players he was discussing. He couldn’t even remember who was on the... more
