This is an extremely well thought out analysis of books that isn't over done. I love that the speakers have a science background as well because it makes it easier for them to tie in these real concepts to the sci-fi books they've done so far. My gripe is likely not fixable -- the ad breaks are 1- super abrupt. 2-just sad personally since I liked the bookstore callouts instead.

I have read so much sci fi since I discovered the genre in 1985 when I started High School and found a big kids library! Asimov and the space elevator was my introduction, rapidly followed by John Wyndham, Clarke, the list goes on. I read all the pulp sci fi I found in an older cousins living room. I was hoping to listen to this show to find fun reads. Of the list of episodes I had only read Project Hail Mary and really enjoyed it. So I figured why not hear their thoughts on it as place to find common ground. Unfortunately the group seemed to have disdain for the book, constantly referencing Ryan Gosling even before the movie came out.
