This podcast was a pleasant surprise! I read a couple other reviews, and I am glad I chose to ignore them... The two hosts have a good back-and-forth, and don't try and talk over each other. They definitely seem to know their stuff and make this cast interesting for the general hockey enthusiast like myself, while some podcasts get too technical and can make you feel lost in the conversation. A great listen and a definite recommend!
If you’re looking for an entertaining podcast then go elsewhere but if you want to to hear two guys completely butcher analysis and use recency bias for every opinion then you might get a kick out this podcast. This podcast sounds like someone that read the first summary of a wiki page for whatever the topic of the day is. Say your time and go check out the puck podcast or the natural hat trick.
The Lady Bing award jokes were the end of my listening; they’re not needed and makes you sound immature. But then there was also the dismissal of the CWHL and I have to ask why you would denigrate half of your possible listeners and dismiss women’s hockey so callously? Isn’t any hockey being played better than no hockey? Do you even like the sport or are you just that much of an elitist?
