  • Wonderful speakers

This is such an important part of my recovery now! I love hearing these leads as I’m stuck in traffic, and I can listen to one of them instead of my own crazy head. Thank you to whoever makes this happen!!

  • Tony P talk

He was great!! But unfortunately a woman named Ellie asked a question then proceeded to keep her speaker on as she was making very disruptive and distracting noises to what sounded like a cat. It was awful!!! And she was supposed to be listening to his answer but it didn’t happen. I thought there were moderators on there who could tell her to mute herself??!

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Rich B | Virtual Kitchen Sink | June 13, 2026
Q: How did you handle the transition when you had to change sponsors or reassess your recovery path after a major life event?
I learned to rely on honest communication, adjust routines, and focus on being there for my sons and loved ones; sponsorship changes can be a catalyst for deeper commitment and living the steps rather than just talking about them.
Rich B | Virtual Kitchen Sink | June 13, 2026
Q: What was your morning routine besides going to the gym at 5 a.m., and how did your spiritual practice evolve?
I start by posting OA reflections to my WhatsApp groups, read them, do a few quick prayers, and then head to the gym; over time I embraced daily rituals, head coverings for spiritual reminders, and using the group as my higher power.
Rich B | Virtual Kitchen Sink | June 13, 2026
Q: First one is, you get up at four, what time do you go to sleep? Did you have a relationship with a higher power when you were growing up?
I try to go to bed by 10 and I grew up fairly Orthodox Jewish, learning to pray in a language I didn't understand; over time I developed a personal relationship with a higher power through OA practices and daily rituals.
Barbara O | Kitchen Sink | May 30, 2026
Q: Can you talk a little bit or elaborate a bit on how you came to your relationship with your higher power, and came to trust your higher power, and whether or not that was a struggle for you?
Barbara describes a gradual, organic relationship with a higher power formed through repeated meetings, consistent practice of the steps, and writing ten steps, which over time built trust rather than doubt.
Vida IS | kitchen Sink | June 13, 2026
Q: Was your shift from atheism to spiritual awakening gradual or a sudden realization?
Vida describes it as a gradual process that felt swift in certain moments; recognizing prior connections to spirituality during meditation helped her understand her current connection to a higher power, which deepened with consistent practice.
