  • Mindblowing

Every time I listen to an episode of Outside In, it shifts the way I look at the world. I’m not exaggerating when I say that these podcasts are mindblowing! Yes the guests and fields they focus on are juicy and fit right at the edge of where humanity needs to be navigating, but it’s the way that Joel and Pavani invite the listener in using a ‘design lens’, that gives those of us without training in design, insights that strengthen our own ability to navigate the complexity.

Much of this also came out in your discussion with Pavani after the episo... more

This is a thanksgiving feast, Joel and Pavani! For those who are unfamiliar with the work and thinking of Joe Brewer I can’t think of a better introduction. This marriage of deep knowledge, informed action, and passion for the biosphere that is built into well-considered strategies to nurture both land and humans is rare.…

and Joe is one of the few feeling/thinking/“doers” coming out of our civilization who is bold enough to step off the edge right smack into the middle of a vision for the fut... more
