Bring back Tony Tedesco!!! I listened religiously to the show when he was on!

Also Natasha Vinik make my blood boil with her fake annoying laugh! I turn my radio off every time she is on!

Who laughs like that for god’s sake?

  • The Dream Team of David and Tony 5

This show is amazing, I believe David fills in for Jim but if Jim ever decides to move on, it should be give to these two! I mix of serious discussion, interviews and then surreal with his foreign correspondent. Always entertaining, sometimes irrational but always hilarious!

Wish I could listen live more often, but still glad I can get my Jim fix. David Copper isn’t too bad either.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Parole Debate, Carnival Security & Back-to-School Stress
Q: Do GLP-1 drugs significantly impact fertility or sperm quality?
GLP-1 medications can influence weight and insulin resistance which may improve fertility in some cases, but they are not fertility drugs and should be managed with medical guidance especially around conception; caution about pregnancy while on these medications.
Parole Debate, Carnival Security & Back-to-School Stress
Q: What should parents do to minimize back-to-school stress for kids?
Focus on emotional preparation, invite open conversations, and avoid over-preparation; establish routines 1-2 weeks before school and maintain summer enjoyment to support resilience.
Parole Debate, Carnival Security & Back-to-School Stress
Q: How integral are drones to real-time policing at large events like Carnival?
Drones are real-time monitoring tools that aid investigation and crowd assessment but are not a guaranteed deterrent; they complement, not replace, on-the-ground policing and intelligence.
Parole Debate, Carnival Security & Back-to-School Stress
Q: Where do you stand on increasing parole eligibility for cop killers and serial killers?
The host, and a police representative, suggest raising the eligibility from 25 to 35 years and increasing the interval between parole reviews to reduce repeat exposure for victims' families, while acknowledging constitutional considerations.
What should Canada do about refugees who lose immigration status in the US?
Q: What are the potential political challenges of adjusting borders or asylum rules?
Any change would face significant political hurdles, including public opinion and opposition parties, and would require careful balancing of immigration policy with economic and social considerations.
