Love these guys…properly funny just by being themselves..and a great trip down memory lane….and yes they are Americans ! My beloved ZX Spectrum from 80’s Wales UK) reimagined by Americans. Really shouldn’t work but it does. Love it…keep it up guys..
How ironic that the best spect review show isn’t even British! I love the light hearted and humorous review of the games and the community they’ve created. Well done gents, keep up the brilliant work and thanks for all the nostalgia your show brings to all us fans!
Having discovered the podcast via The Guardian article here in the UK, I’ve been enjoying hour after hour of fabulous gaming discussion. Whether you grew up around the original consoles / games (ZX81 & BBC B for me) matters not. The warmth and interaction of our hosts brings a beautiful sense of friendship and belonging, no matter the depth of your gaming knowledge. Five Stars!
Who would’ve thought that two Americans finding joy in UKs favourite quirky micro from the 80’s could be so entertaining. Great work guys.
I could listen to these guys all day. I’m an old spectrum fan and it’s great to hear their take on the old creaky games. I’ve even fired up the emulator (but you are way off on Wheelie!)
Became a Patreon patron too.
