This show started out with a fascinating premise and a perfectly adequate main voice actor, even if it didn't have the world's best editing. Sadly, it didn't take long for it to hurtle firmly off the rails. The character of Monica appears to have been written by someone who has read about women (in books written by men) but never actually encountered one in real life. So annoying how the ads are many and so loud. It breaks the flow of the show. Also basics of voice over acting DO NOT RECORD WITH DRY MOUTH. This guy’s mouth is so dry you can hear on every episode. Drink some water or eat an apple before recording. You can hear your dry mouth on every recording. Monotone and boring.

I would not recommend this podcast.
The voice acting in this is horrendous. The constant lip smacking is awful and there is barely any emotion in the voices. The music doesn’t match the story and is just thrown in random places. When the music gets thrown in there he could be in the middle of the a sentence and then the sentence just gets cut off. And sometimes the sentence doesn’t even get finished because of this. I would not recommend this podcast.

So far I’m enjoying this story…but there is no car called a “Volkswagen Mini.” Why and how do authors make mistakes like this? Mini (make) Cooper (model) is a British car brand. VW (make) Jetta/Beetle/Golf (model) is German.
Podcast folks, hire fact checkers! It’s worth it. Or, at least check this kind of stuff yourself. I have heard quite a few of these kind of errors in just the first few episodes.
