  • Highly recommend. This podcast has inspired me from the other side of the globe.

After researching leaders in the philanthropy and fundraising space for my community work in Australia, the One Visit Away podcast has consistently been the most refreshing and inspiring.

Kevin’s holistic approach stands out it’s never just about the gift, but about doing life with the donor and showing up as a decent human being

  • Only sorry Kevin OVA wasn’t here 30 years ago!

I discovered Kevin on LinkedIn a couple of years ago and always liked what he had to say - and learned from it. I have been a gift planning officer for 28 years and in university advancement for 36 years. I sure wish Kevin and OVA were around when I got started as I’m only a year from retirement. I’m going to soak up as much wisdom between now and then as possible and share with colleagues often!

I have no idea how I stumbled upon One Visit Away, but wow, what a gift. No pun intended, really. But indeed, this podcast is a gift in so many ways. Kevin’s conversations are so enjoyable and I’m learning SO MUCH ahead of some potential upcoming fundraising activities.

Whether you’re in development or not, give this a listen. You’ll pick up gems that are valuable for all kinds of roles and relationships.

    Thank you, Kevin!

  • Love the conversations and fundamentals

I was recently introduced to this podcast by a colleague on my team. I appreciate the evergreen and fundamental principles that lead to success and especially loved the decade out gift vs the next or immediate gift. This work is relational not transactional. Thanks for the inspiration!
