  • Thought-provoking & Insightful

Just listened to episodes 1 & 2 yesterday, then listened to them both again today b/c they are so deep, thoughtful, & reflective. Part biography/autobiography, part therapy session, part writers’ workshop. Simply amazing! Excited to hear episode 3 soon! MCC is THE song-writer of my generation! Sarah Kay is a gifted writer & interviewer. She somehow knew to ask all the questions I had & then some! I wish this was a weekly series!

My friend and Country music PR supremo Richard Wootton, took great delight ... more

Whether at Wolf Trap, the Birchmere, or in Bethesda at a fundraiser for the late, great John Jennings, she has mirrored so many of our journeys...giving voice to our own lives, ....what it means to be human. I find myself reading the lyrics to “The Dirt and the Stars” over and over again. Love this p... more

  • MCC - Never ever lets us down ......

I feel always that I have grown up alongside MCC - finding her music in my late twenties and suddenly thinking 'Yes! that's exactly right - that says it all". For 30 or so years I've delighted and wailed and been haunted and lifted up by these beautiful songs that craft stories and images of everyday things in extraordinary ways ...... Songs from Home and these conversations have opened up another window - a new way to see this wonderful artist. Thank you for making and sharing these con... more
