Guglielmo expresses that he decided at around nine or ten years old that he wanted to be a goalkeeper, despite his father's wishes for him to play outfield. He enjoyed the thrill of preventing goals and creating his own moments as a goalkeeper.

It was a good experience with some pressure, and although the outcome wasn't what we wanted, I learned a lot from it.
