Chris’ voice is fantastic for audio narration, as are all the guest narrators. The stories are delightful short fiction from the Writing Battle competition. I can’t say enough about this podcast. Do yourself a favor and follow OMSS.
Host Chris Fulwell does an excellent job curating some remarkable stories, and he’s recruited a talented pool of narrators to bring a wide variety of tales to life. Whether you’re a big fan of Writing Battle or just an admirer of the written word, I highly recommend giving this podcast a listen and diving into some remarkable fiction.
Chris has the perfect voice for podcasting! I’m so glad someone is giving a platform to the mountain of incredible short stories from Writing Battles past. This is an ideal podcast for people who need their fix of bite-sized stories but can’t (shouldn’t) be chronically on the WB website. 10/10 would pay money for Chris to lull me to sleep.
There’s only been a couple of episodes out so far, and I’m blown away by the stories. Great narration from Chris & Co, and of course, wonderful curation of stories that work well together. This is without doubt a slice of some of the very best Writing Battle has to offer.
