On The Scent is the podcast destination for anyone fascinated by fragrance (or keen to learn more) – a place where perfume snobbery is stripped away, and fragrance is accessible to all. What began as a monthly sniff-in on the Outspoken Beauty Podcast soon became so popular in its own right (and with so many listeners sending in questions and asking for more) that On the Scent just had to go weekly... more

The best perfume podcast out there (I think I listen to them all!).
I adore this podcast. It’s fascinating and informative and fun to listen to.
It keeps me company on my commute and has become dangerous for my bank balance as Suzy and Nicola have a marvellous way of describing fragrances that makes me want to buy them all.
I have lost track of how many times I have listened to every episode and then gone back to the beginning and re listened. Yes the perfume insight is what first got me listening as fragrance is a passion of mine. However, what keeps me playing this podcast as the soundtrack to my life is the beautiful friendship and support Suzy and Nicola demonstrate. No egos, just support and passion which is a joy to listen to. It is like having friends in the background. Intelligent, funny and genuinely gorge... more
Loving the scented banter! A genuine insight into what’s new and what’s different… above all I love the scented analogies, great entertainment ladies!
I listen to quiet a few perfume podcasts but this is the one that I immediately drop everything to listen to as soon as it is released. I have learnt so much about both fragrance and (surprisingly) squirrels being part of this scented Cult**
If you haven’t sampled yet, please do. Its the perfect balance of utterly wholesome good fun and seductive olfactive romps
**of the ‘live your life’ kind. Not ‘GTFO’ sort.

Two hosts explore fragrance with an accessible, storytelling-forward approach, pairing expert scent analysis with personal memories and interviews. They cover everything from high-end niche launches to high-street finds, offer practical shopping tips, and bring in perfumers, brand founders, and fragrance writers to illuminate the world of scent for both newcomers and seasoned enthusiasts. A notable strength is the community vibe and the way conversations balance technical knowledge with warm, relatable storytelling, making fragrance approachable without sacrificing depth.
A standout element is the focus on fragrance as memory and emotion—memory-driven discussions, behind-the-scenes brand stories, and a democratized view of perfumery that i... more
